Art Exhibition:

Making the Invisible Visible

The LCAC is proud and honored to host this powerful exhibition showcasing the evocative work of Fay Littrell, whose paintings trace her journey from trauma and dissociation toward resilience and wholeness. Rooted in a lifelong dedication to art, Littrell’s practice began in her early teens and evolved through formal studies across Europe, Russia, and the United States. Her pieces—many shaped during her MFA studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design—delve deeply into emotional and psychological terrain, visually articulating complex themes such as fear, chaos, solitude, and healing. Littrell’s work is both personal and universal, offering a raw yet hopeful narrative of transformation through artistic expression. Now based in Athens, AL, she continues to paint her unfolding story with clarity, courage, and compassion.

Join us at the opening on Friday, August 15, for a chance to hear Fay’s story and experience her artwork. Private tours for groups are also welcome; click the button below for more information.
